In the original style with a pistol-sized Hawken lock, hooked breech, springloaded trigger, fast-twist barrel, Hawken half-stock styling in classic styling, and steel barrel wedge and wedge plates.

The famous name, Hawken, means high performance in muzzleloading. This pistol has the same dependable features as CVA's most popular rifle. .50 caliber barrel; 9-3/4" octagonal with button style breech for easy take down and cleaning. The lock is color case hardened and hefty for added safety. The front sight is a beaded steel blade and the rear sight is fully adjustable for both windage and elevation. In addition, the solid brass wedge plate, nose cap, ramrod thimbles, trigger guard and grip cap make this a very handsome pistol. Detailed shooting instructions.
