The 3-Way Ignition system on all versions of the Model 700 ML allows the shooter to utilize standard No. 11 Percussion Caps, Musket Caps or .209 Shotshell Primers. A universal firing pin design and interchangeable nipples provide ease of ignition selection and added reliability with use of up to 150 grains of black powder or black powder equivalent. With the choice of a custom-designed 209 nipple, black powder enthusiasts can expect hotter ignition, maximum efficiency and performance, even in the harshest weather conditions. Add the magnum 26-inch barrels and shooters can achieve greater velocities and accuracy, not expected from a muzzleloader.

Model 700 ML

Long considered the standard, the Model 700 ML has a carbon steel barreled action in .50 caliber, set in a durable, weather resistant synthetic stock in matte black. The 24-inch barrel is equipped with iron sights and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The anodized aluminum ramrod is recessed into the fore-end and secured with a barrel band.

Model 700 MLS Magnum

New 26-inch magnum version combining all of the great features of the Model 700 ML with barrel, receiver and bolt constructed of 416 stainless steel. The Model 700 MLS Magnum is now available in two calibers: .45 and .50 caliber, both with a 1:28" rate of twist.

Model 700 MLS Magnum Camo

For the serious hunter, the Model 700 MLS Magnum Camo offers a rugged fully camouflaged synthetic stock in Mossy Oak® Break-Up®. Available in .50 caliber with a 26-inch barrel.

Cleaning a Blackpowder Gun

Black powder and PYRODEX are very corrosive. Failure to clean and lubricate your firearm will damage it and impair its function. Your firearm should receive a thorough cleaning and lubrication each time that it is shot or is to be stored for more than one week. NOTE: Black Powder "Wonder Lube" is an all-natural lubricant / protectant for Black Powder firearms. It can be used as a bore seasoner, bullet lube, exterior metal protectant, oil-finished wood protectant and patch lubricant. This all-natural lubricant is completely non-toxic and does not promote "fouling" build-up in the bore of your muzzleloader the way petroleum products can.
